Quick Yoga Flow to Strengthen & Stretch your Quads

This short yoga flow is designed to strengthen and stretch your quads.

Some qualities we'll cultivate for the quads in this video are:

  • Strength. Strong quads help you hike uphill, especially over rocks or steps.

  • Control and awareness. Slow movement helps build muscle control and body awareness. Notice where you meet your edge before you lose integrity in your shape and breath.

  • Flexibility and relaxation. Allowing your quads to stretch and release helps relax your body.

Props for this class:

  • 2 blocks

  • 1 strap (alternative: long belt, scarf, or towel)
