Yoga Hike at Fort Macon

It was so much fun to spend time with Jo and Gabby on the Yoga Hike!

The weather was amazing. It felt so good to have the sun out and shining after so much cold, and it warmed my spirit to see so many people out enjoying the trail. Our first stop was at my favorite spot at the top of one of the dunes. We had a full 360 degree view of the entire beach, the rest of the trail, and parts of the Coast Guard station.

The ups and downs of our path through the dunes led us to the beach where we practiced yoga, dropping into where we were and letting go of any insecurities of practicing in front of other beach goers.

The waves made the best music for savasana (or what looked like yoga sunbathing that day).

The way back brought fun in the trees as we wound our way past the salt marshes and did some monkeying around.

Looking forward to the next one. Where do you want to go?
