Yoga Series to support the way you move

Getting older comes with the freedom and confidence to know who you are and own it.

 

It also brings changes in your body.

  • It's taking longer for your body to recover after going on your favorite hike, taking a long bike ride, or skiing the slopes.

You're mobile and can still get around...

 

... but you also want to take better care of yourself now so you can continue doing all the actives you love and live independently for as long as possible.

You're probably aware of the benefits that having a yoga practice can bring. Things like improved mental wellbeing, flexibility, strength, and stress relief are top of mind.

However, life just seems to get in the way of even your most well intentioned plans. The dog needs walked. Just a little bit more time on this project. Dinner needs to be made.

Many of my students tell me that they want to be more consistent with their practice so they can

  • be more flexible and not feel so tight

​

  • improve strength and do the challenging poses

​

  • get better at being in the moment and destressing

My yoga classes are designed to serve people of all levels and abilities. They focus on:

  • Building strength and flexibility in a balanced way.

  • Giving you the space to explore the ways your body can move to help you learn your limits.

  • Building coordination and balance to help prevent falls and catch yourself if you misstep.

​

  • Relaxing your mind and nervous system so you're able to think more clearly.

 

By the end of our time together, you'll feel good in your body, relaxed, and energized.

Go over the foundations to practice yoga safely and effectively for you.​

  • Gain confidence in your own abilities as we move slowly through poses and break down the actions involved to get into them

​

  • Create strength, flexibility, and balance so you can move around in the real world easier.

  • Increase coordination and grow awareness of what's going on inside your body.
